Meet the Providers
Dr. Charon Gentile is a board-certified OB/GYN located in Houma, La. She has been in practice in the Houma area since 1997. She is a graduate of Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minn. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Gentile served nine years in the United States Navy while specializing in OB/GYN. Dr. Gentile is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Terrebonne Parish Medical Society, Louisiana State Medical Society and Southern Medical Association. Dr. Gentile brings experience and knowledge to every patient encounter. Further educating herself is one of Dr. Gentile’s goals and she continually reaches this goal by staying up to date on new medical treatments and technology.
Dr. Michelle Andre is originally from Houma, La. She graduated high school from Terrebonne High School and then graduated medical school from LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport, La. She attended the residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Andre decided to move back home to continue her medical experience. She has been in practice as an OB/GYN since 2007. Dr. Andre is a member of the Terrebonne Parish Medical Society and the Louisiana State Medical Society. Having grown up in South Louisiana, Dr. Andre is able to understand her patients' culture and strive to work with them to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Heather Fanguy is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in south Louisiana, graduating from South Terrebonne High School, receiving her bachelor's degree in nursing from Nicholls State University, and her master's degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Heather provides OB/GYN health care along with performing cosmetic procedures. Being specialized in family medicine has helped Heather bring a new dimension to the practice, allowing for further care of women. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Louisiana Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
